I am currently waiting for my other half to give birth,
and typically I am the most impatient man on the Earth,
waiting for her contractions to end,
is beginning to drive me round the bed.
It will be lovely when our baby boy joins us here,
but right not now that time feels far from near,
we had this slow labour before,
that's right we know the score.
Last time she had 5 days of being in pain,
I used paternity leave, won't do so again,
this time I am actually working whilst I wait,
I pray to god this baby isn't late!
